Waalwijk

Roozen van Hoppe is building a new distribution center on Haven VIII in Waalwijk. The new warehouses (phases 1 and 2) will have a total surface area of approximately 70,000 m2. The first pile, for phase 1, was driven in February 2019.

The distribution center of the first phase has an area of 32,560 m2. With an office space of 1,216 m2, employees will soon be able to enjoy a new workplace. A sprinkler room of 200 m2 has also been realized. Phase 2 has now started. A distribution center (32,560 m2) with office space (1,216 m2) will be realized here as well.

Roozen van Hoppe Industrievloeren has deposited super flat floors in the distribution center. A super flat floor gives the logistics service provider the option to stack the warehouse up to 12.2m1 free height with induction-controlled forklifts.

Sustainability plays a central role in the realization of the projects. Sustainability is applied in the development and construction of this distribution center through, for example, heat pumps, PV panels and climate ceilings in office spaces.

Roozen van Hoppe is building this BREEAM-NL project with the ambition to achieve an “Outstanding” design certificate. Hereby the highest score is achieved in all sustainability categories set from BREEAM-NL.
